Mother of God celebration ceremony at Panagia Chrysopigi Monastery. With great resplendency and devoutness, as it happens in such celebrations, we celebrated the birth of Holy Mother along with the holy convocational Monastery of Panagia Chrysopigi's feast at Polydendri of Attiki. Many pilgrims came to all services in order to thank Holy Mother of God and humans and ask for guidance and help for the difficult situations in our countries.
On Thursday, 7th of September at 7:00p.m. the ceremony of evening prayer took place with the Great Metropolitan , former of Piraeus, Mr. Kallinikos. The Holy Speech was made by Holy Archimandrite Methodios Kritikos.
On Friday, 8th of September, the day of the celebration, a ceremony of Mass took place at 7:00a.m. Holy Metropolitan of Dimitriada Mr. Ignatios and Holy Piraeus Metropolitan Mr. Serafeim were presented. At the end of the service, Mr. Kallinikos thanked pilgrims for coming in the Monastery and wished them many and blessed years.
Many holy chanters and friends of the Monastery sang hymns, which were performed in a particularly brilliant and great way to the Feast of Holy Mother birth.
The afternoon of the same day at 5.00p.m. the service of the after-celebration pray and the Holy Pray to Mother of God was performed.
Let us always wish that Holy Mother be not only a point of reference but also a unity for our nation and Greeks everywhere. Many blessed and great years!
